There are 10 hours of video lectures. If you do 2 hours per week, you can finish the videos 5 weeks. However, you will also need to set aside time to complete the tasks of your research project.
Statistics is an extremely broad topic. Given the complexities of it, I will not be teaching in-depth data analysis methods. However, I will teach you various ways to get your data analyzed and what tests to run so that you will be familiar with what you need to know as a student researcher.
But, rest assure that as a medical student you will often not be asked to conduct your own analysis and your research mentor will most likely consult a qualified statistician to do so. I have published over a dozen papers as a medical student and was never asked to conduct my own analysis.

I am not an IMG so I do not know all the ins and outs of completing a research fellowship in the US. If you want to learn the skills to look for the right research mentor, I can teach you that. However, whether the research institution accepts IMGs is out of my control. Therefore, while I can teach you my method for finding opportunities and give you a data of research opportunities, I cannot support you in navigating the process of getting your Visa or documentation needed to do research in the US and can’t guarantee you will find a position. This depends on how persistent you are.
